Mark Johan Wolthuis is Managing Director Europe at INPASA, based in Geneva, where he leads the company’s European activities and the development of new markets for its biofuels and biorefinery products. He brings extensive international experience across energy, fuels and commodity markets, with a career spanning Brazil and Europe and a focus on business development, sustainability and the energy transition.

His work connects Brazil’s agribusiness and bioenergy production with European and global markets, particularly through corn ethanol and biorefinery co-products. His experience encompasses the integration of food, feed and fuel, international market development and the sustainability requirements shaping biofuel trade.

He studied at Rotterdam School of Management, specialising in Industrial Marketing, and has completed additional training in sustainability, including ISCC and Bonsucro, as well as management programmes at ABN AMRO and ING.
