Executive President of SIMINERAL – Pará State Mineral Industries Association
Emerson Rocha is Executive President of the Pará State Mineral Industries Association (Sindicato das Indústrias Minerais do Estado do Pará — Simineral), where he leads the sector’s institutional agenda, bringing together government, business and society to address the challenges and opportunities of mining in the Amazon.
He serves as a full member of the State Environmental Council (Conselho Estadual de Meio Ambiente — COEMA) and the Steering Committee of the State Climate Change System (Comitê Gestor do Sistema Estadual sobre Mudanças Climáticas — COGES), contributing to the development and monitoring of strategic public policies for sustainable development in Pará.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and an MBA in ESG and Corporate Sustainability. Throughout his career, he has developed broad experience in government relations, social management and communications, focusing on strengthening the reputation of responsible mining and fostering dialogue with communities, regulatory authorities and institutional partners. His work contributes to a competitive and sustainable mining sector aligned with the energy transition and global climate commitments.
